ABOUT ME

Dr. Bonnie Paulsen

Hello!  I am Dr. Bonnie Paulsen, my life experience has made me a great fit for many different projects.

I am a Master Class Graduate from the industry leading school, Voices for All.  I have a professional in-home studio which allows me to give you quick turnaround time and I use Pro tools for recording.

I have a Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing.  I also have a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Transcultural Nursing.  I have spent my career in a variety of settings - hospital, long term care and community.  Using your voice in nursing can be very therapeutic and is something every nurse learns when working with people, clients, family, and co-workers.  The use of voice can help someone who is in pain, having anxiety and be very calming.  I can use this skill when doing voice over projects!

I am also a grandmother of FIVE grandchildren.  Having those little ones around inspired me to write children's books.  I am a published author!  My first book was published in 2022 and I am working on getting a second one published.

I have read to groups of children during story hour at the library.  Talk about needing to keep a group of pre-school children entertained when reading to them - it is a great skill I have picked up along the way!

I live in a suburb of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro (Minnesota) area so am available for local recording projects as well.

My voice can be described as calming, compassionate, caring, and sincere.  I can also use my voice to entertain when needed.
